first day of our long trip. we arrived in kota kinabalu at 6am then caught a taxi (about an hour) to our hotel, the Lexus resort. thank god they let us check in. we both went straight to bed. since then we have wandered around the grounds in high humidity and gone for a swim in the pools. we have managed to book an overnight climb on mount kinabalu tomorrow.
